The IT pro Society Association supports Hungary's information society by conducting activities of public interest, including research, representation, and providing information. The association is most widely known as the operator of Infoter.eu. This website serves as a meeting point and information hub for researchers, public administration specialists, and enterprises involved in building the information society. The site aims to present information and news regarding Hungary's information society to the public at large, while also providing exclusive interviews and video reports.

Foremost among IT pro Society's goals is representation in order to ensure that IT-related developments and programs serve society's interests. To this end, the association reviews programs, tenders, and pieces of legislation, and keeps contact with relevant governmental organizations and NGOs. The association places special emphasis on supporting communication between public administration, NGOs, and enterprises. To this end, they assist NGOs with a primary focus on ICT in presenting and promoting their activities, and relaying their opinions.
